workplace new motto for the year. focus focus focus. this is enlightening as it is something align with what i had in mind this year. focus on key areas for improvement. focus one small thing at a time, not too many at once. just one, not two or three. ONE small step at a time. let me repeat. ONE small step at a time. many small steps leads to significant change at the end.

this makes you think of what is the most important thing to tackle first. too big to chew. no problem. break it down and do one small incremental step. and then next small step and so on.

so this year i will be asking myself daily. what is the one thing to do today?

Grocery shopping with Tesco online - no next time

Been long time wanting to try grocery shopping via Tesco website. Finally had the chance to try it out after the new of lockdown being extended. My experience: NOT worth it.

But let's go through some pros before mentioning the points that really put me off.

Pros:

• Quite nice browsing experience for the shopping site.
• Good selection of grocery items. But this is also one of the cons which I will mention later.
• Able to select a slot for delivery. Reminds me of purchasing cinema tickets online.

Now come the cons:

• They will substitute items with their in-house brand, without notifying you. For my case, a refill pack of Nescafe is replaced with their in-house one which I have never ever in my life tasted before. Several more items with the same fate, i was really surprised and at the same time pissed off as well.
  

That summarizes my 1st and last time purchasing online from Tesco.

ASP.Net API - Cannot call method UseInMemoryDatabase?

Following the Microsoft step-by-step guide on creating my first Web API using ASP.Net Core. Then i encountered an issue where method UseInMemoryDatabase not accessible.



Did some googling and found that i need to install another package. Problem solved!
